A QR code for a link, a phone number, or Wi-Fi
This generator builds a static QR code in your browser. Pick a link, plain text, a phone number, an email address, or a Wi-Fi network. You can set the colors, place a logo in the center, and download PNG or SVG. No account is required.
The code stores that content directly. ScaScan does not count scans, and you cannot change the destination later without making a new code. If the content is a web address, that page has to stay online for the code to keep working.
QR codes for business use
A business QR code from this page is the same static code: it opens your site, dials a phone number, starts an email, or joins a Wi-Fi network. It is not a payment QR for a bank app, and it does not track a campaign.
For a printed card, follow how to create a QR code for a business card. Put the code at least 2 cm square and test it before you print.
A restaurant menu that guests order from is a different product. That QR code is created when you publish a menu, not in this generator. Read QR code menus and table ordering.
How to make a QR code
- Choose URL, text, phone, email, or Wi-Fi.
- Enter the content. A phone code uses a tel: link. An email code uses mailto:.
- Optional: change the colors, the pixel size (128 to 1024), or add a logo.
- Download PNG or SVG and scan it with a phone before you print or share it.
Questions
How do I get a QR code for my business?
Open this generator, choose URL, and paste the page you want people to open. Download PNG or SVG. For a business card, use the business-card guide so the printed size stays scannable.
Can I put a logo on the QR code?
Yes. Add an image in the center, then scan the result. A large logo can make the code harder to read, so test it.
Does this QR code expire or track scans?
The code itself does not expire. It keeps opening whatever you put in it. This generator does not record scans, locations, or devices, and it cannot point the same printed code somewhere else later.
Is a restaurant table QR code made here?
No. Table ordering uses a published ScaScan menu and a QR code per table. This page is for a link, text, phone, email, or Wi-Fi network.
