What is Scascan AI Keyboard?

Scascan AI Keyboard is a smart keyboard for iOS and Android that uses artificial intelligence to help you type faster, compose better messages, and translate text — all from your keyboard. It supports AI-powered text generation, grammar correction, tone adjustment, and more.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We take your privacy very seriously. Your keystrokes and personal data are processed securely. We do not store your typed content on our servers. API keys provided by Free tier users are stored only on-device using secure local storage. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

Why does the keyboard need network access / full access?

Network access (Android) or Full Access (iOS) is required so the keyboard can communicate with AI services to provide smart suggestions, text generation, and translation features. Without it, the keyboard works as a basic keyboard without AI capabilities.

What is the difference between Free and Premium?

Free Tier: You can use AI features by providing your own API key. This gives you unlimited usage based on your API plan.
Premium Tier: Subscribe to get access to our managed API key with higher rate limits, priority support, and premium features — no setup needed.

The AI features are not working. What should I do?

Try these steps:

• On iOS: Make sure Allow Full Access is enabled in Settings
• On Android: Make sure Scascan AI Keyboard is enabled in Settings
• Check that you have an active internet connection
• Verify your API key is correct (Free tier) or your subscription is active (Premium)
• Try removing and re-adding the keyboard (iOS) or disabling and re-enabling it (Android) from Settings
• Restart your device

How do I manage my subscription?

iOS: Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device to manage, upgrade, or cancel your Scascan AI Keyboard Premium subscription. You can also manage subscriptions through the App Store app.
Android: Go to Google Play Store → Menu (profile icon) → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions on your device to manage, upgrade, or cancel your subscription.

Which languages are supported?

Scascan AI Keyboard supports multiple languages for both typing and AI features. The AI can understand and generate text in English, Nepali, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and many more languages.

Can I request a refund?

iOS: Refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled directly by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
Android: Refunds are handled directly by Google. Visit Google Play Order History to request a refund, or use the Google Play refund request form.

Keyboard Not Appearing (iOS)

• Ensure the keyboard is added in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards
• Restart your device after adding the keyboard
• Try deleting and reinstalling the Scascan AI Keyboard app from the App Store

Keyboard Not Appearing (Android)

• Ensure the keyboard is enabled in Settings → System → Keyboard → Manage keyboards
• Restart your device after enabling the keyboard
• Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Scascan AI Keyboard app from Google Play

Slow Response Times

• AI responses depend on your internet speed — ensure you have a stable connection
• Try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data
• Check if the AI service is experiencing high demand
